Halloween is on its way, and so is the beautiful weather for Florida! Which means, grandpa sweaters, dresses and booties!! I truly cannot get enough of this weather, which makes for painting pumpkins, playing outside with Sophie, and figuring out the last touches for Halloween costumes! This outfit is always fun and easy, especially for date night! Just enough trend to meet those cool Autumn nights! You can turn around and head out to work, or drinks with your girlfriends. Add your flare for jewelry and show the world your style!

Cupcakes and Florals

Two of my favorite mixtures, florals and cupcake skirts! Today's #ootd is Express, head to toe. This skirt has a mod feeling to it and has become an amazing statement piece! Great for any body type, but mainly an extremely stand out skirt. Tuck in a cream tank and you're good to go for any adventure dressy or casual! Wedges for date night, or flats for shopping with your girls! When it comes to my jewelry, I play with it depending on each outfit I create. Pandora rings are a huge addition to my outfits, as well as Brighton earrings and their Crystal Rocks necklace. Stacking any type of jewelry mixes different styles to create something special for your individual trend!

Autumn Bliss

 

 

Autumn is right around the corner! Maybe not for Florida, we still have probably 2 more months before it actually feels like fall. (Wishful thinking) Fall fashion is always one of my favorite times of year. There is so much you can put together! Sweaters, and scarves, and boots (oh my!) Your options are truly endless. Accessories are key, and I personally love chunky overfitted sweaters, tights and boots. Your make up gets darker, you get to play with LIP COLORS! Like wine! I can just smell the lipstick stained pumpkin spice latte as we speak! Some simple ways to keep up with each new trend for fall are blogs, magazines, and any internet website related to fashion. Pinterest is amazing for finding ideas, but truly keeping it simple with accessories and keeping warm you will reach your fall fashion goal.

Where to Find Your Inspiration

Inspiration. Its a word that helps most people find their own identity. There are many things in fashion that help designers find their influence. Whether it be a culture, or a place, or an era, perhaps even a person. For me, its a multitude of things. I personally love the 60's and 70's era. The flowing clothing, the bohemian feel to everything carefree. It makes me want to run through a field of daises singing Strawberry Fields with a flower crown in my hair! The western/bohemian look is my absolute favorite right now. The color contrasts, the bold prints, fringe, floppy hats! It makes me scream for more NYFW & all of LFW! I have quite a few people that I find inspiration from; Brigitte Bardot, Cara Delevingne, Nicole Richie, Blake Lively, Gabriella Wilde, the Olsen twins, and those are just a few! I have many many more. Creating your own look helps to find your basics and searching through old pictures or the "street styles" fashion guru's post always helps me to find new outfits! Take a fashion dare and push yourself to try new ideas. You never know what type of icon you could become to someone else!

A fashion lovers FIRST post!

Never did I expect the day would come for me to finally make a blog! I've been told for years by numerous friends and family members that all my love for fashion should be put to good use. (Besides being taken out of my wallet). My parents have always been my biggest supporters, which is also where I get the name for my blog. Lawrence and Ellen are both of my parents middle names. Naturally, the only two people in the world who have loved me unconditionally and pushed me to always be myself and pursue my dreams. I truly owe my sublime obsession to one of my dearest friends and role models though, Jose Burgos. (Yes I just put your name out into the world because you are someone so inspiring the world would be lucky to know just a piece of you!) Since high school he's always been the one to teach me to wear things in my own way, built my confidence and knowledge with each outfit I purchased, and wore. Fashion, beauty, and traveling are three of my beloved hobbies. A suburban girl, with no main fashion capital close, is finding and following fashion from all over the world.
